After hearing all the hype and seeing that it is one of the most watched series worldwide, I finally found the time to watch Squid Game. I have to admit, I had fun watching it and I had a lot of fun throughout the season. It’s hundreds of candidates (who are down on their luck and need the money) who are asked to play children’s games for a chance to win big, 45.6 billion won (about $33 million USD). The only problem is that all of these children’s games are now deadly and the last contestant wins all the money. You’ll be sucked into its world and before you know it, you’ll be hooked. It’s a thriller with lots of twists and turns and lots of violence. This is a series that will stay in your mind long after you’ve watched it. I know it’s already been renewed for another season, so I hope they can keep the same magic that it had in the first season. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
